A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter

Good morning.
The shower felt very good this morning, better than most days. I don’t know why, either.
My Favorite Daughter sent me a text at 0300 saying allergies, a train and raccoons woke her up. I told her to hold that thought and if she was still awake 40 minutes later, we could talk. I guess she went back to sleep!
I completely forgot this was Memorial Day weekend, so I’m not ready for anything. Hopefully, I’ll get the flag up on Monday!

She’s texting off and on so I think she must be dozing.
We got emails from the church leadership, and today would be our meeting, but they want masks, 6’ of separation, and no old or infirm folks. Specifically those over 65. For our safety.

Wish I could adopt that floof!!
Good morning.
I was just going to go hang up the laundry and thought i’d check to see if you were up yet, and there you are!! Cleverly disguised as a tiny floof with foldy ears!
I didn’t realize I hadn’t made an entry in my journal since March so I just stopped everything and went to work on it. I’m not done but I have to go hang up the clothes. It would be nice to take a short-cut to bed for a 30 minute nap!
The flag is up, so I’m legal today!

I thought perhaps that might happen, as soon as you allowed yourself to relax a little after That Person moved out. You’ve earned it.
It’s not as cold today as it has been, for which I’m grateful!
We got our new church schedule and My Favorite Son says he isn’t happy with it. Our ward only meets once a month, but he hadn’t as yet, (yesterday, when they called) gotten any word on what their schedule will be.
The main meeting is shortened to 45 minutes and no other meetings are scheduled, so going for 45 minutes in isolation doesn’t appear enticing. I’ve decided to just wait.

We had a modest turnout for Mass yesterday, maybe 75 people. I’m sure there will be more next Sunday, as word gets around about the arrangements. Asuncion played the guitar for the psalm; we were all very proud of her.

I’m glad people are going back to church. Of all the bad things about this, losing the freedom to go to church was the worst.
I’ll be glad when things get back to normal and people get back to work. And I can go have lunch with Roy and Carol!

The bar we like in Matthews has reopened (50% capacity), but the weather hasn’t been nice to sit outdoors and have a drink. Maybe sometime next week.
In other news, my original order said my Complete Hogwarts Castle will ship tomorrow. I hope it’s true!
