A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
Sleep is good. I hope for some, someday, myself.
Yes, today is The Day!!!!!!
Yes, I’m uhm...quite familiar with U-Haul trucks!! LOL!
One of my obnoxious neighbors who is currently living with his G-Ma, is moving into the apartment two doors down, and I’ve been going through stuff the last few weeks to decide what to keep and what is still serviceable. I have most of his kitchen, as far as dishes, but I told Chuck I wanted this done anonymously. I don’t even want him to know its a woman.
Anyway, its just less stuff to move to St George and yes, I brought it with me. Dummy me.
I’m confused. You’re giving stuff to the neighbor, or taking surplus items of his? And I understand about moving too much stuff!
Sally borrowed DP’s truck early yesterday afternoon to move some of her things over to her new abode. At 9:00 p.m. or so, he noticed that the truck wasn’t back, so he texted her to find out what had happened to it. She had just decided to hang out at the destination the rest of the day and evening ... “I don’t see why that’s a problem.” (A typical line ...)
He also had less wine in his bottle of the Good Stuff delivered by Seaboard Bar. He believes she drank some of it on Wednesday night after he went to bed, but I think he drank more than he remembered.
The former event won’t happen again! Reminds me of one morning when Bill the Son didn’t get up for school, and when I went to check on him, he said, “I’m sick! I think I have the flu!” “Did you finish *both* those bottles of wine, the red and the white?” “Uh, yeah ...”
Giving stuff to a neighbor. I don’t need no more steenkin’ stuff! ;o] He’s obnoxious, and I do NOT want him on my doorstep. For any reason. Period.
Nothing like making parting a blessed event! I wonder if she knows the event is much more pleasurable for you than for her.
We’ve been making every effort to make it abundantly clear, so if she doesn’t know, it’s because she’s in a self-absorbed bubble of unreality.
You dasn’t scarez me. I haz Friedae!
Happy Friedae, all.
I can remember when Frontier had all the colorful planes.
Happy Friday! Happy D-Day! Everyone enjoy a lively adult potation on my behalf, please.
Yes. Yes, that would be the proper pose, wouldn’t it? ;o]
Happy Friday to you! Any word on when you’ll be going back into the city?
I just got more. Lively adult potation, but that’s only because Walmart didn’t carry it, and I had to go to Lin’s for it.
The last errand on my list may have to wait until tomorrow. I still haven’t made my bed, and I’m too worn out to mess with it.
I have to try and call Frontier.
I would say she’s self-absorbed and you don’t really mean everything you say because she IS.
In other news, I just sent an email to Frontier about my travel and asked to go a day earlier. I hope it works. Otherwise, I’ll have to cancel and rent a car to make the trip.
The current “PAUSE” will end May 15th IIRC. I don’t know if they will then do a phased reopen or extend the “PAUSE” longer.
But I don’t think I’ll be on the first train back to the city.
Incidentally, the same Governor who created the “PAUSE” and claimed he was doing it to protect the seniors created rules to force senior facilities to accept COVID-19 referrals from hospitals. The death toll at senior centers here is astounding.
I'm so glad I live in an area (again) where seniors are respected and cared for and even honored. I don't think I liked living in senior housing in Vegas because the more senior I became, the less I was respected and/or cared for. I like this area. :o]
So whenever you do go back, I hope you find things mostly as you left them. ;o]
If I left anything - it’s stolen.
Happy lunchtime!
Another problem with remote work. Getting out to the kitchen (area of our living area) is often difficult to schedule.
DP has that issue, too.
Ah. Yes. I’ve not quite forgotten what that’s like. Thirty years taught me some hard lessons.
Flower shops are open in Florida starting today. I just called one in The Villages and ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday, which is Monday.
I’m just waiting for my supper to cook. So when I’ve eaten, I can think about going to bed. Again. :o]
