Unbelievabe. Is anybody able to capture a screen shot of NY Gov. Coomo pissing and moaning about the shortage of medical supplies while sitting in front of hundreds of cases of medical masks?
New York has known of the risk for 5 (five) years.
Cuomo still points at Trump as the problem.
In 2015, New York state released guidelines for how ventilators should be allocated in the event of an influenza pandemic. The flu, like coronavirus, can cause difficulty breathing, and some people may only survive if they get access to a ventilator.
The report reveals that New York has just 15% of the ventilators it would need at the peak of a severe flu outbreak like the pandemic that ravaged the world in 1918. The report estimates that the need for extra ventilators would peak at more than 18,600 machines, while the state would have about 2,836 available.
“In the event of an overwhelming burden on the health care system, New York will not have sufficient ventilators to meet critical care needs despite its emergency stockpile,” the report warns “If the most severe forecast becomes a reality, New York state and the rest of the country will need to allocate ventilators and other scarce resources.”

Those boxes could be empty as stage props or they could be prepositioned at the Javits Center for need in the next few days when the pop up hospital opens up there.

Cuomo just said New York needs 30,000 ventilators when in the entire country there are less than 45,000 cases most of whom are not even hospitalized. Even among those hospitalized not everyone needs a ventilator. The number of ventilators Cuomo is ranting about is ridiculous, has no basis in fact, promotes panic and is rooted in politics...it’s Trumps fault we don’t have the 30,000 ventilators we need. Of course the lame stream media will not question his demand for 30,000 ventilators.
Ever been an election worker in a swing state like Pennsylvania. I was and we had a parade of people in 2016 who swore they were registered in our precinct and had always voted there. A few seemed innocent enough like they had re-registered where they were attending college. Others? Not so much.
I had our team strictly follow our county's rules-- not in our registration books, no voting on the machines.
This was his first campaign speech for President. Up til now he’s been praising Trump and the federal government for their support. But, now, to run for President, he has to criticize them.

Decipher what he actually said. Add real facts to it and you will see that he is full of toto.
I was listening to his bloviation and remembered minor details. Because of him, NYC (not upstate NY) is overpopulated. There are skyscrapers now where there used to be parking lots. The creation of cell apartments. Sanctuary city. Bike lanes. It’s easier to catch the flu from a sneezing biker than it is from someone walking or riding in a car.
On Friday he signed a rent law which will bankrupt property owners. Funny that he didn’t bother to lower property taxes. HAHA soon people will be living in government owned buildings in NYC.
A pop-up hospital. Staffed with pop-up doctors and nurses. Pop-up pharmacists. Pop-up Respiratory Therapists. Pop-up IT and maintenance guys. Pop-up janitors and housekeepers. Pop-up linen suppliers. Pop-up security. Pop-up purchasing agents and accountants. Pop-up cleaning supplies. Pop-up toilet paper. Pop-up dietary aides.
Oh, and I can't stand his voice. Can't look at him. He's disgusting. His face looks dirty, unwashed. grey.

I don’t know what he was saying, but the medical supplies filling the entire screen behind him was impressive. THEN they panned back to show the immense stockpile, pallets and pallets of med supplies in a YUGE warehouse.

I didn’t read that picture as Coumo HORDING med supplies.
I read it as an example to all the reporters that keep saying that doctor X and nurse Y and patient Z STILL don’t have the supplies Trump says are coming.
THERE THEY ARE!
Should they have dropped full pallets of supplies at your local hospital? or take them to a warehouse for DISTRIBUTION?
I think the Coumos are EVIL. (I live in NY) but I must admit, in this case, he is doing nothing wrong, Quite the contrary.
