My mom did Amway for a while. She was a nurse but tried to make a few bucks.
When she was really into it, she reminded me of the nazi youth!! Say something bad about Amway and you were in trouble!!
Thank God it was just a phase.

For a while there Amway was definitely cult like however people who truly BELIEVE in that way are the best sale people!!!

I did too ... but I never fell for the conditioning ... I wanted to make money, but I learned the money was made in mind screwing others long enough to get THEM to recruit long enough to .... etc.
The concept is beautiful, and would work, if people would/could get into how compounded interest works (invented money)
