I was thinking silhouette of a dish antenna.
Radar dome might be right but, in comparison to the war angel, it seems kinda small for an airport/NOAA doppler dome.
Seems possible the war angel is cut in to make it appear larger.
Why the skillet?
Makes it look kinda “tin-foily”.

I just might buy this one, even though the author is heterodox, writing about others even more heterodox than he.
