I think the smoke colors are relecting Rubio’s thoughts on how the deal-making in Congress is going.

Gypsy286 posted about the smoke earlier this evening without a link. HarleyLady27 was trying to find out the bottom of the black smoke. I posted RUBIO’S tweet to help her out.
Strange that RUBIO would tweet something like that in the midst of uncertainty.
Don’t know what Rubio is up to, but the black smoke thing is used when the Cardinals are voting for a new pope. Black smoke at the end of the daily session indicates no decision. If a choice has been made white smoke is displayed.
Rubio should explain what in the heck he’s doing, so we don’t have rumors.
