The hysteria over this little cornyvirus is completely out of control.

Children should be in school and businesses should be open. Beaches should be open.

Exactly. What’s the worst that could happen? Only 672 dead just today in Italy. Sure that equates to 3000 dead in one day here but I’m pretty sure unicorns will show up tomorrow in Italy with fairy dust medicine and make all the icky deaths go away.

But in Germany there have been 19,848 confirmed cases and 68 deaths. Italy is the worst case for a number of reasons.

Take a look at the statistics from South Korea and the US. The mortality rate is far lower.

Cease your childishness.

You know very well why Wuhan Flu has exploded in Northern Italy. It’s really very obvious.

Italy, particularly Northern Italy, contains the largest population of Chinese immigrants in Europe. Many Chinese work for the Milan fashion houses and a great number of them traveled back to China for the Chinese New Year. When they returned, they brought the flu back with them.

Also, many Italians are heavy smokers. That fact doesn’t help their lungs and makes them more susceptible.

Italians are also known for their affectionate greetings, such as hugging and kissing each other on the cheeks.

Italy also has socialized medicine and it is known that many doctors have refused to treat the older people. It is also a fact that Italy has the largest population of elderly people in Europe.

Considering all those factors, is it really surprising that Northern Italy has been hit so hard?

Another fact that I forgot to mention is that many Italians live close together. Many live in apartments and some live with their relatives. Italian families are close and it’s not unusual to have several generations living under one roof. That’s another risk.

The US is not Italy. Places such as New York may be hit harder, due to the fact that so many people live practically on top of each other and travel by crowded subways, buses, etc. That makes them more susceptible.

Sorry, snowflake, but your amusing little post didn’t bother me. On the contrary, it made you look childish and ignorant. I had a good laugh.

I am too intelligent to give credence to the Lame Stream Media. OTOH, you are obviously a sheep who believes every lie the NYT, CNN and the other propaganda outlets vomit out. Sucks to be you.

I hope you will be happy when the economy crashes and Biden is elected in November. Because that is exactly where all of this ridiculous hysteria will lead us.

Grow up.
