8.11 million disappeared cell phones points to the true numbers of dead in China.
It's an indicator.
It could be dead.
It could be accounts canceled to save money in hard times.
I'm told China Mobile doesn't have contracts, but charges based on usage.
It could be with limited access (CCP shutdown of cell phones?) people simply aren't able to rack up minutes and data?
It could be that a LOT of people have fled out of China Mobile's coverage? We do know almost half the residents of Wuhan got out of dodge right before the quarantine.
That's a lot of missing subscribers no matter the cause!
