The author can go party on the beach and afterward go visit grandma at the nursing home to show off his tan. The next day he can continue his life as a waiter at the best steakhouse in town as he handles everyone’s food.
He doesn’t understand or wants to understand this has nothing to do with life as we used to know it. This is World War III. He’s the bullet that will kill whomever he infects while he’s stomping his feet and throwing a tantrum. It’s not going away anytime soon.

This is what I’ve been wondering about, with EVERY restaurant going to either drive-thru, curb side, or delivery....
Who or what is to say that this food is safe? How do we know an infected person (I imagine at the larger chains, hopefully, they’re masked/gloved while cooking, but who knows?) didn’t prepare the food and....that the food they serve is safe, and not infected?
Have I missed something, about this?
