My husbands’ business (some here know what he does) will likely end up having to continue despite any shutdowns. This call has come to other corporate CEOs in this same line of work from the Top.

I’m petitioning his company to at least allow him and his employees to wear masks as they will be exposed quite a bit. Right now, the guidance is “no” per the CDC. Of course we know this is because of the mask shortage. However, my husband stocked up on masks years ago for this very scenario. It makes me so upset.

Maybe some custom made masks....with company logos, etc.

I bet companies/individuals are taking orders for these types of masks.

I had a couple of boxes of old masks (5 years +) sitting on my shelf. good 3M N95s.

I asked my wife’s hospital if they could use them, and they said no because they were expired. That hadn’t been cleared for them yet.

I took them to the MIL’s nursing home this afternoon. You would have thought I brought them manna from heaven. Same health system. That’s the difference between local and national managed. They said, “old is better than none.”

Once people get “excited” enough, they will let folks do whats best for them.
