Is it more quiet than normal there at this hour?
No way the Olympics can happen, because countries would be starting their Olympic qualifying right about now.

Coronavirus Pandemic Update 41: Shelter In Place, FDA Investigates Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19
Governor Newsome of California has ordered a statewide shelter in place which affects 40 million people. President Trump made a statement about hydroxychloroquine getting FDA approval, but the FDA clarified that more clinical trials are needed first. Dr. Seheult discusses a Japanese influenza medication called Favipiravir (Avigan) that shows promising preliminary results, but cautions more trials and peer-review are needed.

Above is a youtube of the Prime Minister of India giving a speech yesterday. March 22 is to be a day of appreciation to those standing between the virus and the people.
He talks about having the will in the upcoming days, etc. Sounds like they are expecting things to escalate there as well.
There are now reports of hydroxychloroquine being used at US hospitals with great success. One of them, Lenox Hill Hospital in NY had a doc on Laura Ingram saying they had treated almost 100 COVID-19 patients with no deaths. If this turns out to be effective as an early treatment, that's a lot of patients who don't require hospital rooms, ICU beds, ventilators, doctors and nurses.
Lenox Hill Hospital: No deaths with use of hydroxychlorquine
A lot of people saw Trump push the drug, even directing the FDA to get their butts in gear and fast track the drug, only to have the MSM accuse him of giving false hope to a fearful population. Obviously Trump had been briefed on hydroxychloroquine, but the MSM, as always, can't help themselves. Right or wrong, people will remember this as the drug Trump made happen.

On the day 21 thread you had asked about a comparison with the swine flu. The above youtube has CV-19 charts in comparison to others since 2000 including swine flu. No wonder the various nations are acting like they are.
I saw a few headlines trying to spin the negative. Trump said I want it and I want it yesterday. And he got it. It will probably take the FDA another week to requisition a pen with black ink, one each, and a few extra days to find the copy machine key, before they write off on the compassionate use paperwork but that’s to be expected. In the meantime, Trump’s meetings with big pharm literally paid off in minutes.
The medcram video briefly compared the other two treatments being used and found the Japanese flu drug (flavi something) seemed to have better results with less adverse affects than the Chinese HIV drug cocktail of lopinavir and ritonavir. I think that points to treatment in China being more chaotic, with higher fatalities than has been portrayed.
I watched a youtube of beda set up in the parking garage of one of the Italian hospitals. Not sure if it was for medical folks or patients or homeless patients, but seemed like 100 beds.
Yikes
My thoughts exactly. I dont trust anyone at this scary time. Im so proud that we are fully stocked for a very long time. I even thought ahead to have a special meal in the freezer for my birthday next week. We will NOT be ordering takeout or delivered dinners.
Yep. We are seeing it here now. Why are people hiding their heads in the sand? They should be preventing their infection and those of others. If they don’t care about themselves, dammit don’t kill the innocents.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Lake Elsinore
DRIVE-THROUGH coronavirus TESTING site to open at stadium in Lake Elsinore
Testing at the Lake Elsinore Diamond stadium will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in parking lot C, Riverside County health officials announced in a news release. Those who want to be tested must have symptoms or a risk of exposure and must make an appointment by calling (800) 945-6171.
Initially, people needed a doctor’s referral to get an appointment, but they can now call the 800 number to request one directly, Reichardt said. Still, potential patients will be asked a series of questions, and only those who fit certain criteria will receive an appointment to be tested, he said.
The sites join a growing list of drive-through testing facilities in California, including in the Bay Area and in Orange County. To access them, people must either make an appointment or contact their doctor, who must make an appointment.

California Temporarily Relaxes Alcohol Restrictions For Restaurants, Allowing Some Liquor To-Go
Included in the announcement is a notice allowing restaurants selling beer, wine, and pre-mixed drinks or cocktails to prepare those beverages to-go in conjunction with meals prepared for pick-up or delivery.
Any alcoholic beverage sold to go must be packaged in a container with a secure lid or cap in a manner designed to prevent consumption without removal of the lid or cap, according to the department.
Wow. Had to take my mom to urgent care clinic for foot ulcer and people were going 80 mph and weaving all over the place. Some of them looked like drunk drivers.
Let me see if I got this...
I can;
Order drinks from a bar, so I can drink at home...cost is sky high.
Or...
Go to liquor store/grocer...buy for a fraction of the cost and drink at home.
Equals...= How F’n Stupid Are People....?
