I really want to see the H.R. Geiger museum. His work is eerily beautiful, though it’s not for everyone. To many, it’s disturbing, but he mastered his art. Airbrushing by hand, from memory, on huge canvasses. As artistic as I am, that’s not something I can pull off.
After his wife, whom he loved dearly, died, she became a central female face in his work.

The man who designed the Alien for the 1979 movie “Alien” and subsequent sequels.
Geiger used to do some of the cover artwork for the old “Heavy Metal” magazine back in the 80s.
Amazing stuff, from an amazing artist.
