Gee when I had mine and the 3 centimeter polyp removed meant a 30 percent chance of cancer, I kinda thought it was essential.

Exactly. One must assume that hospitals are only in it for the money, and that MA bureaucrats know better than hospital personnel themselves what the hospital’s priorities are, to take this Soviet view.
What's more important - saving a man's life or insuring the death of an innocent baby...........never mind, I think I figured it out.
