VERNONA, Italy – Samaritan’s Purse, headed by Franklin Graham, has sent a field hospital to northern Italy to tend to coronavirus patients, joining an international effort in offering aid to Italy’s overwhelmed health care system.
The DC-8 aircraft carried approximately 20 tons of medical equipment, a respiratory care unit developed specifically for this response, and 32 disaster relief personnel, including doctors, nurses, and respiratory specialists, who will stay in country for at least a month.
I’ve got to say, I’m enjoying all the vids from celebs trying to carry on from home: they are all pale, disheveled, and average looking without their makeup people, wardrobe people, and hair stying staff to transform them. Gal Gadot asked a bunch of celebs to sing Imagine with her to lift our spirits. Sheesh.
Seeing them this way really brings home the notion that they are really no more attractive or stylish or talented than we are. Without the entertainment industry to prop them up they are almost average. Madonna looks like a hag typing in the dark. Ellen looks tired and 15 years older. Even Gal Gadot is simply cute without all her makeup...
