Not sure what youre getting at. The wife and her team spent thousands of hours fixing code that would fail when the year turned from 99 to 00. Not hard to comprehend really. They fixed it so it didnt break. Had they ignored it, it would have broken. They tested prior by faking the end of the year to see what happened and many systems failed.
What do you get when you subtract 1 from 00? One more that subtracting 1 from 99?
