Exactly. From the abstract - One degree Celsius increase in temperature and one percent increase in relative humidity lower R by 0.0383 and 0.0224, respectively. This result is consistent with the fact that the high temperature and high humidity significantly reduce the transmission of influenza. It indicates that the arrival of summer and rainy season in the northern hemisphere can effectively reduce the transmission of the COVID-19.

So does this lower the distance to 3 feet? hopefully
The problem will be the resurgence in the fall...just about the time kids go back to school or college.
It’s a repeat of history.

If it has an R0 of 4 (has been recently most often stated as 2-4 but 6 was a long standing early estimate) then to reduce the R0 to 0 would take only 100% humidity and a temp rise of 80 degrees Celsius. Hmmm. Boiling Tsunamis for Everyone!
Just kidding, sort of. Normal weather changes of a seasonal nature won’t have the dramatic effect people are hoping for if these numbers are correct. Some is still good, though. Will be offset in the southern hemisphere (where spreading has been going just fine, anyway).
But if you have a sauna or hot tub, go for it.
Many thanks for the link and for this information!
