That's one of my favorite heater types. I used one to good advantage when renting a single room in San Diego. Quiet, effective, safe.

In my basement at home, I use an infrared style with a fan. Just enough for my small office space.

Yep and they’re well worth the investment. The landlord was so impressed he bought one for the basement laundry room so nochance of pipes freezing. Took the weight off his mind entirely as one year it was brutal cold and they froze.

Also my son put one in his bathroom which sits over his garage and always colder than the rest of the house. And my neighbor got a couple because they had electric baseboard heat....they love them too and never use the baseboard heat at all.
