cgbg, concur that this is a nasty virus and still has a long way to go. I also am supportive of measures to slow the spread and keep it out of high risk populations as much as possible.

What I find interesting is despite the near hysteria from some quarters, the number of positive cases is a low as it is in those tested. It’s not easy to get a test so this is usually done in symptomatic individuals and not all comers. I’m still not quite sure what to make of this disparity but do find it interesting as am watching it.

I’m in the health care field and this virus is one of the most significant and sobering ones I’ve seen in my career. We have a ways to go before we turn the corner.

Remember, WA state has been the best in testing of all the states.

They are more likely to be testing folks who requested tests as well as just contact tracing.
