Is anyone here naive enough to think that all of the Democrat governors in PA, NY, NJ, CT, IL, CA, WA acted independently to announce economically crippling shutdowns, all on Monday morning?
All for 49 deaths.
Ok, can you provide any links to the details of this 32-year old’s case? I’m not saying that only old people can die from this virus. I am saying that the hysteria and overreaction to it is bordering on insane, as there are far greater threats to people than this.

That’s his being in critical condition. Someone on a Coronavirus daily thread said he died; I thought they were trustworthy so I didn’t check that.
But this is an MSM (non-rumor) local source for his being in critical condition with Coronavirus. He saw at least a dozen patients during the time frame he might’ve had it and been asymptomatic...
Point is, not all of them got to Wuhan / Hubei because of Chicom movement restrictions. OTOH right before the quarantine, 5 million people left Wuhan...
Reduce commerce; injure the economy. A depressed economy would seem to be the first step in a socialist takeover; a possible second step is to force dependence on the government through the financial hardship that follows for Americans. This would seem to be the weapon of dem choice to counter the claims that President Trump’s economy is a strong argument for re-election. Where reacquisition of democrat dominance is concerned, there is no low that is low enough, even if it harms the entire population.
You may have a point; it could be conspiracy theory. On the other hands, democrats still need a weapon to depose the President. Is there any thing that is too low for them to consider? My cynicism, earned in many decades of life, says there is not.
Interesting that the governor of MA is still considered republican.

My son works in Houston. He says Harris County has shut down the bars and restaurants except for take out. However the county judge in Galveston County says the order is illegal! Hooray for Galveston County judge!!! He is right!
