The world needs to bring the hammer down on China after this. Culture matters, and clearly China has a backward culture that tends to generate health threats to the rest of the world, and their communist government couldn’t care less about it.

Anyone who’s been to China recently (including myself) knows the answer.The people of Mainland China live like savages...living in filth that would make any Westerner faint in shock.

It’s not just the new diseases or pandemics; China has been ground zero for several of the bad bugs that have tormented humans over the centuries:

Technically, they aren’t NEW diseases. They are new iterations of old diseases that have been allowed (encouraged?) to erupt by cave man slaughter conditions and dining habits in much of China. The folks are not really to blame. Under communism the folks have choices; eat rats, bats and such stuff, or starve. The video of a Chinese “wet market” shows it in action; if you can keep from tossing your breakfast when you see it in action.

You know what else is in Wuhan China? The only lab in all of China that experiments on viruses like Coronavirus.
So, it either came from the food market, with no evidence (as this video says). Or it escaped from the lab where this virus is experimented with.
Oh and for some reason the Chicom gov’t tried to cover it up. And now they are trying blame the US Army. I think the more plausible answer is the Wuhan Kung Flu accidentally got out of the Chinese lab and they tried to contain it and keep it secret but coudn’t.

I read that the reason the North and South American natives were nearly wiped out by disease after their discovery by the Spanish was because the natives had very few domestic animals. Western civilization had literally lived with a huge variety of domesticated animals for centuries. The human population had exchanged diseases with these animals for their entire existence. Thus, the Westerners were immune to the diseases and the natives of the Americas were not. An estimated 90% of the natives died off due to disease between their discovery and the nineteenth century.
Over thirty years ago, a Korean friend of mine told a joke that has some resonance — let’s hope I can remember it. There were three farmers: a Japanese farmer, a Korean farmer, and a Chinese farmer. All three didn’t have a lot of money and had to keep their farm animals in their houses. The Japanese farmer couldn’t take the filth and soon had to move out of his house. The Korean farmer tolerated the animals and continued to live with them. In the Chinese house, the animals moved out because they couldn’t stand living with the farmer!

People should not live with the animals that they grow and slaughter.
Not every aspect of any living thing is transferred to the person who invests that animal part.
Just because it is alive doesn’t make it a viable food source.
Wash your hands. Not just once a day.
Brush those gray teeth.
Human waste should not be used as fertilizer for vegetables “directly” from the source.
Cover your damn mouth when you sneeze or cough.
Stay the hell out of my personal space.
Put that cigarette out in public. I don’t smoke, and don’t want to smoke yours second hand.
Does this make it 3rd world? Shiny buildings don’t make a nation first world. Start cleaning those buildings instead of just tearing them down every 10 years!
China is like a trailer park full of tweakers that won the lottery.
Part of it is that when you use a “public restroom” in China....there is no toilet paper unless you bring your own. No Soap, no towels, unless you bring your own.
The this is the way things are there...so 99.9999999% of them don’t wash their hands.
Food in most restaurants, is set on a turntable in the center of the table. The diners use the chopsticks that they were eating with to serve themselves from the the turntable. It’s beyond gross. If one is sick... everyone is sick.
