Are the tests being administered just verifying whether one has
a corona virus? As I understand it, the medical establishment has plenty of test kits for the generic COVID-*, and very few kits for the specific COVID-19, since that test is new and slow to reach the street.
As such, these pronouncements of testing positive almost always state the poor victim has corona virus in his/her system but not specifically COVID-19.

Interesting point, considering that 15% of the common cold is caused by a coronavirus (most are a rhinovirus). If so, that would be a LOT of 'false' positives going around.
