we use it as a preface to actually washing our hands. We have livestock though.
If I could redo my kitchen one thing I’d do is install a foot pedal control for my kitchen faucet. And a pot filler too :)

I’ve gone through several cabinets and closets. All mostly trash pile stuff.
My next thing is to pare down a lot of the larger, decor type things. Ready to have clean, mostly empty shelves.

New Jersey Governor issues statewide curfew—
NJ residents are no longer allowed to travel from 8pm to 5am with the exception of essential travel, Governor Phil Murphy announced Monday. This remains in effect for the foreseeable future.
So..according to those like you, we really need to quarantine completely. Shut down all trucking across the country. Shut down all public transportation, Shut down all public places. Stores of any type, churches, etc.
The POTUS HAS to play the game. Because of you hysterians, he is backed into a corner politically. If he does not, we get either a old commie as the next POTUS or a demented old son of a B as the next POTUS.

There were boxes in the attic we hadn’t opened since we moved them here 20 years ago. Waiting for a bit warmer weather to take another look up there.
The Christmas / other holiday stuff survived the last purge, but I’m getting to old to decorate like I used to.
Someone needs to get Cuomo off the Fox stage, fast, right now. I have been listening to this clown drone on for over an hour. Many people who are listening will be calling the suicide hot line. If you listen to him, there is no hope, yet he has all the answers......in a state that has the second most, soon to be the highest number of infections.
Up until a week or so ago, I really believed OUR worst scenario involved complete disruption of medical supply chains and spare parts for things we need to keep running (semis, a/c units, machines and equipment at what few manufacturing facilities we have left along with parts for assembly).
I really believed it *might* be something ‘we’ could avoid since we don’t live in polluted cities like the ones in China and mmmmaybe our lungs are in better shape.
I also never believed we’d descend into retail chaos. I stocked a few weeks extra just to avoid getting out overmuch around germy people (hubby is in a high risk group, over 40, asthma, hypertension, etc). If I’d realized how nutso the kroger/walmart/costco stuff would get I’d have stocked even more in my end of January grocery/bigbox run. Which wouldn’t have affected what was on the shelves last weekend...since they’ve had 6 WEEKS to resupply/restock since I did the bulk of my shopping.
Every pic I see of crazy people, lines around the block at stores and empty shelves makes me add a few rows to the garden...
Order seeds and garden amendments.
If this isn’t over by May, plant a big garden for fall.

Well, it didn’t take long for the Wu Flu addicts to assume a “we dindu nothing” pose.
Turn on TV: public parks closed, commentators noticing airliners hold more than 50 people and that makes a suspension of domestic air travel likely, stock market closure for 2-3 days broached as the market crashes, etc.
Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. The Wu Flu hobbyists who breathlessly hung on every fatality for weeks own all of the coming economic collapse.
