Is it time to panic? NO.
This document is trying to help you to understand the situation at hand and not to terrify you. We want to make sure you understand the facts and understand what is at stake. This is a Pearl Harbor moment for our country. We are facing a real threat and we need to face it with all of our resources. When people decry the seriousness of this moment they are steering our country off a cliff, we need everyone to understand that this is important and if we work together to slow the spread we will get through this as we are learning from Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and China.
The effectiveness of our healthcare system to deal with a sudden tsunami of respiratory illness is what is at risk. If our healthcare system buckles under the strain of tens of thousands of patients then we could be looking at a catastrophe.

It is of interest because it explains both the threat of COVID-19 to the individual AND to the system.
Those that ignore the threat of COVID-19 put others at risk and are no better than the dork that ignores evacuation orders in a sunami event and risks the lives of people that attempt rescue.

You might be able to flatten the curve by destroying civilization and the economy for two weeks in the nation but it’s still happening around the world and the virus WILL continue to spread and then make its way back into the US.
And then what? Shut down the country again for two weeks?
A month into it, and there’s 10 or 20 dead. Yeah, this is a real pearl harbor. Meanwhile at least 16,000 have died from the flu. This is an over blown, overhyped, media induced, democrat fueled panic.
COVID-19 has now killed 0.00008% of the world’s population. If we aren’t careful that number might rise to 0.00015%. Essentially, you have a 1 in a million chance of dying from the COVID-19. Probably 1 on 10 million if you’re healthy. Fact: 1 in 22 million is about the risk of dying in a commercial plane crash in the US every time one flies.
Don’t ignore it but don’t panic either. Use faith in God and common sense.
As Trump said, when Americans are tested, Americans rise to the occasion.
I’ll add, “When FREE Americans are tested, FREE Americans rise to the occasion.”

I like the way the threat to the system is described, the importance of how you conduct yourself to slow the spread so as not to overwhelm the system, and how this virus is new and effects all of our bodies naive immune systems.
It worked for me. Try back. I think their system is taxed.

You’re right. And the Dems never let a crisis go to waste so they exaggerate it to their benefit. In this case it is to defeat Trump in Nov. It won’t work.
By summer, things will be getting back on track. It’s a long time until Nov.

They make a big deal of exponential numbers but don't seem to consider that this virus has been in the country probably for the past three months, which means that everybody should have been in contact with it by now, and with the ten percent fatality they're touting there should be thousands of deaths.
In 1966 the word was that by the year 2000 a loaf of bread would cost thirty bucks ... at the current rate of inflation. The arithmetic was good if you accepted the premise. But the premise itself was false.
