Take care and God Bless--
Danny
Hang in there. Don’t let it get you down. You are fighting a battle. Eating when things have no taste is like passing ammunition to the front line. Gotta give the guys something to fight with. You know you are in our prayers.
Danny, get some nutritious shakes in you. They may not taste good, but you must eat to keep the good cells healthy. Stay away from sugar, as it feeds cancer.
HEALING is in the WORD! Declaring GODS Promises on Your behalf...
PSALM 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in Whom I trust.
3
Surely He will save you
from the fowlers snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4
He will cover you with His feathers,
and under His wings you will find refuge;
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9
If you say, The Lord is my refuge,
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11
For He will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14
Because he loves Me, says the Lord, I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name.
15
He will call on Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him My salvation.

Thanks for the update, Danny! Still praying for you.
Prayers up for you.
I agree with the idea of the milkshakes/nutrition shakes! Aren’t the doctors advising you on what you should be eating right now? I’d hope so!
Just do it! We need you! :)
I'll ask for your guardian angel to hang closer to you and help you get some food in your system.
Prayers lifted Danny... May God give you strength. courage and comfort... and healing!
Continued prayers uplifted for your complete recovery, Danny! This entire Chinavirus bravo sierra is getting on everybody’s nerves and I can only imagine how hard it must be for you with your cancer. Be strong and keep your faith, brother. You can beat this and with God’s love, you will!
God Bless you!
Thank you for the update. I was just thinking about you yesterday. You are in my daily prayers.
What you describe sounds typical for someone undergoing this treatment. Hope you get relief soon.
Prayers continue.
Hang in there, Danny! I cannot imagine how tough it must be. I will keep you in my prayers
Praying for a complete recovery for you.
Danny, you and your family are in my daily thoughts and prayers.
Hang in there partner. Better times ahead.
I don’t want to lecture you, but you need to eat. Whether you can taste the food or not, you can’t fight without sustenance. I have a friend whose husband beat cancer of the larynx and pharynx several years ago. The radiation killed his salivary glands. He has no spit so his mouth is constantly dry, but he eats because he must, and drinks a lot of liquids to get the stuff down. I’ll keep praying for you Bender.
I have related to you my similar battle with Stage 3 Stomach Cancer. Infusion Chemo with severe side effects (some on going 7 months later), full stomach removal surgery then the last 13 weeks on pill chemo. 75 pound weight loss and not obese I look like a Shar Pei puppy or a prison camp survivor.
But I am still making each day a new day at following Doctors orders and appear to have completely beaten this terrible affliction.
Go for a walk. Listen to an audio book in the sun with a hat on. Exercise to build appetite. Make your bed by nine AM to avoid getting back in bed. Read every NFL story on Bing. Tackle a new hobby.
If you need me to bang on your head PM me. I will be most happy to help.
Hang in there Danny...
I am reluctant to suggest this, but you might want to consider a field trip to Colorado or Oklahoma for some “appetite stimulant”. It has done wonders for a couple of folks I know that had to go through chemo.
