True. But from what we’ve read that Vietnam/India stuff still gets parts from China.

China is somewhere in the supply chain for pretty much everything now.

Our goal with parts buying was to basically ensure we had one vehicle running just in case things were dodgy for a year or so.

I was going to say the same. China is (or was, I guess) well over 50% of the world’s steel production. You need steel for brake pads (unless we go back to re-lining...but I doubt anyone even knows how to do it now). Probably the same for just about everything else.

It will be very difficult to get China’s sticky fingers out of just about everything we buy...maybe not even possible.
