speaking of Corona, Mr. BP stopped at the Walmart Corona
Shelves are wiped out. Veggies/fruit wiped out. People waiting for deli cold cuts/hot food. Still have ice-cream. Pre-packaged frozen/refrig wiped out. Said it looked like a zombie apocolypse canned goods feeding frenzy.
Parking lots are crazy. And some crazy messican wanted to fight Mr. BP over a banana bunch he had in his hand - bananas!!.
Lady from Stater Bros said canned goods are wiped out there, too. She bought stuff she didn’t really need because she thought it won’t be restocked.
LA shut down schools. Now provisions being made for 40 school family centers, for 3 meals a day plus babysitting (80% are below poverty level so qualify for free meals), which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense difference between keeping schools open and siting babysitting centers

Mr. BP was just there for fruit and deli and said there was no reason to go into the back of the store. A senior lady in a electric cart was having a problem getting a bag of generic salad mix. Mr. BP handed her a bag and some lady tried to grab it from Mr. BP. Cart lady said that she couldn’t even navigate her cart in the back aisles, too many people were just pushing past her. Mr. BP asked a floor person to help her and he got out of there. Said police are directing parking lot traffic. Like they’ve got nothing better to do.

That’s TOO FUNNY. They just don’t get it. They figure if the schools are closed then the virus won’t spread...so they pack the kids into daycare centers and all is fine!
This is the kind of crap that the CDC should have figured out and been ready to respond to decades ago...but it will take them a month to figure out what LA is doing is probably undercutting their social separation goals, just a bit.
