My design is not for the ventilator but a refit for the filters. The air is drawn through a series of filters where it s zapped with micowaves while in the interstices.
I am working on anther design where the filter is a porous material saturated with sodium hypochlorite solution. In trials, there was an odor some found to be objectionable.
Another promising design involves the injection of ozone.
