BRAZILIAN President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for coronavirus, according to a report from major daily newspaper O Dia in Rio de Janeiro.
Earlier this week, the Brazilian met Donad Trump and attended a joint press conference in thew Rose Garden of the White House, where he shook the hand of the US President.
The news comes just hours after his press secretary Fabio Wajngarten tested positive for COVID-19 - days after he also met Mr Trump.
The US President was believed to be in close physical proximity with both on Saturday night.
They attended the dinner hosted by Mr Trump Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
His son took to Twitter on Thursday to say his father "is not exhibiting any symptoms of the disease".

Ha haaaaa! Now Brazilian President has been declared negative and the Faux News chick interviewing his son is grilling him about the validity of his negative result. And now she’s expressing skepticism about the update.
They'll find they jumped the gun too soon when this is all over and forgotten by summer and the stock market has completely recovered. The only residual effect will be a renewed realization on the part of the American people that total product dependency on China is BAD.

CNBC just said he tested negative.

So now we’re positive he’s negative?
It was not precise for him to use the term “hoax,” regarding the virus in any way, even if he meant it was about the Rats or the media.
We face huge monetary losses due to fairs being shut down. Absolutely no money coming in. We are set to head to Yuma for their fair. So far it is a go...but being over 60 with “conditions”...debating whether it is wise to leave.
We can last until June here at the property...five acres in rural California...after that...no.
While there are currently no cases in Yuma County, we can not afford to get this disease. Who know who is carrying it. Someone coming in from Los Angeles? A vendor....a Carnival worker? And then its off to the races.
At our age I can not take the chance with my wife and I that we get the “mild” case versus severe. Mild goes from simple cold to full blown pneumonia...
Can not take the chance to driving down and then having the event cancelled five minutes prior to opening as what happened at the Colorado River Fair in Blythe yesterday...Or be at an event and have it shut down during the middle of it like the Houston Stock show...
This flows downhill and all around like a real mess of XXXXX
We are resigned to the fact that our lifestyle is about to be severely altered. Luckily we own our home...say for proeprty taxes..

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad you can self-support until June. Maybe this k-rap will be gone by then.
The wife and I are in the “later” 60’s with me being healthy but the wife having some issues. She just left for a weekend small-group retreat (against my better judgement), but will be back Sunday. The only other trip for us will be to see our oldest in VA the following week. I imagine that trip will be a hunker-in-place visit. After that...probably no more excursions unless one of the kids needs help. We just had two reported infections here in Mecklenburg County, NC. Schools are still open but most extracurricular activities are canceled. We’re stocked to go several months in partial survival mode without ripping into the full-blown mode supplies.
I’ll say a prayer for your safety.
My wife and I are not the only ones...of course. But we both take blood pressure medicine so that elevates our risk considerably...
And that strong borders and immigration control is GOOD.
