LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced Thursday that there are now six presumptive cases of the coronavirus in Arkansas.
Positive tests for the virus were reported in Saline, Jefferson, Grant and Pulaski counties. Schools in those counties have been temporarily closed.
According to Hutchinson, four of those who tested positive had contact with a patient in Pine Bluff who was the first person in the state to test positive. One person is a UAMS Medical Center employee who was working at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Arkansas Department of Health Director Nate Smith said the first person to test positive contracted the virus in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
A "presumptive case" means a person has tested positive for the virus, officially known as COVID-19, and test results have been sent to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for confirmation.
Governor Asa Hutchinson has been a puppet for the People's Republic of China for years. Several million $ of Arkansas Tax money was used to attract this Chinese "business" . Clark County economic development officials are taking steps to market the property they once had hoped would be the site of a $1.8 billion paper mill employing 350 people, a situation they said the company blamed on the simmering trade war between the United States and China.

Where are all these thousands of people who are dying?
I ask because when this is all over and the NCCA tourney has been cancelled, baseball is postponed, the rest of the NBA season is done, etc. I want ropes and trees unless I am shown the massive death toll.
Otherwise, wtf!?!? Why is my kids school cancelled, their sports cancelled, etc. if there are no bodies in piles?
Why is the economy ruined if there are no deaths galore.
Point being that the response to this should be serious but proportional to the threat.
Those who point to the flu are right in a way. Where was this panic during Ebola or SARS or the Avian Bird Flu? Where were the cancelled parades and seasons.
And now we can’t gather in groups? Oh, how very freaking Soviet of them.
I am supposed to believe that the Deep State, the very Deep State that we have been decrying here on this site, is now to be a trusted source of information? I am to believe that THAT Deep State, the one who tried coup attempt after coup attempt is not now controlling us beyond their wildest dreams.
No going out, no eating this or that, no driving, no flying, no watching barbaric baseball and basketball. And most of all, no more rallies unless approved by the local, liberal governors.
Might I get the coronavirus? Sure, you bet I might. Might I probably recover? Sure bet I likely will. JUST LIKE THE FREAKING FLU, I might also die. But I might die driving my car for freaking sakes. Will it be pleasant. HELL NO. But when the heck is it ever freaking pleasant to be sick.

Right or wrong, the idea is to prevent the bodies from piling up - so if there aren’t any after all this is said and done, it could be argued that it either wasn’t necessary or that it worked.
The idea is to keep the places with relatively small numbers of cases that way, so that medical resources can be allocated to where they are needed the most.
It’s the places that have few cases that need to hunker down the most, since those places can still be spared.

The whole point is to ‘prevent’ the show of bodies. A lot of the confirmed cases are people traveling to events with large crowd or attendence.... there’s ‘a pattern’ the authorities look for in it’s spread and why certain warnings/bans/closings are acted on.
