Simple answer: they had a doc to certify they were exposed to a known case.
I’d like to see everyone with that info attested to by a doc tested.
Of course we can’t test everyone with the sniffles.

I think what happened was WHO declaring the virus a pandemic gave all the auto-pilot public figures the jolt that told them they needed to do something.
Preparation is fine. Avoiding a train is the right thing to do.
I am saying that is corona is a train then car deaths is an ICBM missile headed for a large metropolitan area.
I am suggesting the response is very disproportionate.
I appreciate that they are trying to head off corona. But even with vaccines and long known patterns we don’t head off the flu to the thousands of more numbers. It is straining at gnats and swallowing camels.

Well, when the president makes a prime time speech about a problem it makes people anxious- no matter how well he speaks.

Let’s put it another way.
The Flu, and heart attacks and strokes and accidents and surgeries gone wrong keep our ICU’s pretty near full all the time.
THIS virus is an extra add on.
And it looks like 2-5% of those who get it, roughly, need an ICU bed to recover (and not die).
So if 10,000 people in your locale get this that means 200-500 of them will need an ICU bed.
How many ICU beds, extra, do the hospitals in your area have at any one given time?

#BREAKING State of Kansas announces first #coronavirus death. Man in his 70s. Lived in a long term care facility in Wyandotte CO. Up until this mans death, we were told that there were only four cases in the entire state. Those four cases did not include a man in his 70s.

we live in the provinces so should be okay for now, but most families have kids working in Manila who visit all the time, and our business does deliver rice to Manila once a week, so it's just a matter of time.
