National lockdown coming Monday...I’d almost bet on it. FedGov is coordinating k-12 school shutdown. Most of all of them seem to be talking about Monday shutdown at the latest if they’re not already shutdown.

Don’t tell the flubros now...but China blaming US for the virus is the first salvo in nationalizing our manufacturing facilities there. As payment for their troubles and losses.
You just THINK the market went crazy when it figured out the supply chains were dodgy...
Mercer Island is where obamy’s mama and grandparents were from. Supposedly, it is full of serious leftists and communists.

HK and Singapore have not declared martial law, per se. Nor Germany.
In this day and age, I'll predict whatever president declares marital law would be voted out of office or impeached. Democrat or Republican. It will be crossing the Rubicon, so to speak.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KXAN) City leaders confirmed the first travel-related case of COVID-19 in San Antonio that is unrelated to cruise ship evacuees.
During a news conference Friday morning, Mayor Ron Nirenberg said this case is prompting him to sign a public health emergency declaration, which prohibits public gatherings of more than 500 people. He also strongly discouraged people from attending any events that attract more than 250 people.
Hmmm...maybe Mercer Island needs to be a COVID-19 quarantine island.
FL
MIAMI City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has tested positive for COVID-19, his office confirmed Friday. Florida health officials have told Miami Police Chief Jorge Colina to self-isolate due to his frequent interactions with the mayor.
China is also threatening to hold back on drugs for the US. If anything will spur an economic boom here it is the war-footing return of manufacturing.
State of Emergency is not Martial Law.
Though they vary little in function, the nomenclature is different.
It is not necessary to declare martial law in order to have effective quarantines.
All you need to do is allow states to set up their own local quarantines in selected areas or around their states, including giving them permission to close their airports.
Martial law is like swatting a flea with a hammer—total overkill.

Good gosh....maybe this is why Gov DeSantis looked like a zombie, at last week’s presser.
Pence was at that presser, too.
I wonder who all attended that presser....will have to go back and look.

Today at the grocery store, the little old lady ahead of me at the check out had about six food items. At first, I thought that’s all she could afford until I noticed it was all name brand and better meat than we can afford. About that time, she turned around and started helping me move my food on the conveyor belt. It was all I could do to tell her to keep her hands off my stuff. Felt bad even thinking that but society is going to be different than it was last week.
That escalated, quickly.
Wasn’t it just a few days ago, POTUS said UK is holding down virus?
Prayers these are all just mild cases and they’re self-isolating.
Andrew Gillum gleefully cheers for COVID-19 news about the Miami Mayor testing positive. The COVID-19 national emergency will keep the focus off of Gillum's Miami Beach escapade.
Has Pence been in the public eye this week??
