A doctor who has been diagnosed with coronavirus has given an insight into the disease's daily symptoms on social media.
Dr. Yale Tung Chen, 35, from Spain, who caught the infection while he was treating patients at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, has been sharing his experiences battling the illness with the pubic.
The emergency physician has been sharing ultrasound scans of his lungs and listing his daily symptoms in an attempt to give the world a glimpse of how the illness takes over the body.
Taking to Twitter the doctor wrote: 'Day 1 after #COVID diagnosis. Sore throat, headache (strong!), Dry cough but not shortness of breath. No lung US abnormalities. Will keep a #POCUS track of my lungs. #coronavirus @TomasVillen @ButterflyNetInc.'

Ultrasound is a terrible way to look at lungs and is u likely to be useful. That throws the entire rest of the story into doubt. I don’t know any physician who uses ultrasound to evaluate lung disease

Might be a function of his facility..or perhaps he doesnt want to expose himself to repeated radiation of CT scan if he is trying to do a frequent observance. It wouldnt be prudent to do many CT scans

the point stands. The lungs are not well evaluated by ultrasound and the data is worthless whatever the reasoning, and the fact that he would think ultrasound shows anything makes one wonder if he is actually a doctor or what his training is. But if it’s on the internet it must be true

It seems like Tom and Rita went all over while being infected, dunno if they were contagious, and it seems like their hotel was contagious even after being disinfected, and with them being on the other side of where the WUHAN man was.

Many wont need treatment...you go home until your body heals you or it doesnt and you have to go to ER
If you doubt he is a Dr it is pretty easy to find out if it is true instead of just claiming he is a liar
why dont you check
He’s in quarantine at his home, ultrasound is probably the only tool he has available and he figures it’s better than nothing?
