I fail to understand the reasoning for treating meetings on a virus epidemic as classified.
A national security issue? It’s not an external threat.
It does not make sense.
Maybe there there was an internal threat (CDC).
My guesses...
...things are in the planning stages that cannot yet be disclosed until implemented
...MIL operations based upon potentially destabilized regions
...how MIL operations are affected and/or INfected
...OPSEC
...national vulnerabilities which could be exposed if critical information were to be revealed

It makes sense to me in a way. Plans will be debated, some good plans, some bad plans. They don’t want people panicking over the panic-producing plans that are only being discussed, and probably rejected.
They also don’t people reacting in such a way that it makes planning as a whole difficult, as with unnecessary hoarding just for example.
Probably other reasons as well. Use your imagination. Some plans may sound draconian—until we are faced with the alternative.
