It appears to me that the outbreak of the coronavirus is the fault of lax pathogen containment procedures on the part of the Chinese government at minimum. This is only a general theory that I've been able to piece together from various podcasts but it seems to make sense given the facts.
The Coronovirus or its immediate predecessor was CREATED in 2015 by an international project in which both the United Stated and China were participants. The head Chinese researcher whose name I have only heard and have not read (I am not very good at spelling Chinese names even in English, Dr. Hsu Jung Le is my closest approximation) synthesized a coronavirus/ SARS hybrid. Given how deadly it turned out to be, the United States government had the project shut down. It was not known what research Hsu possessed when the project was ended.
Apparently, Hsu ended up as a director a, where else but the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Recently two researchers were jailed for selling lab animals to the surrounding population. Also, China decided to upgrade the procedures regarding the handling of deadly pathogens in its virology labs.
So what this tells me is that China created a deadly virus, took it to Wuhan and that pathogen escaped due to China's negligence as illustrated by its lax pathogen protocols. The Chinese government knew about the outbreak in November because students at the University of Beijing were being infected. The Chinese knew about it and didn't tell the world for at least a month and a half.
Wasn’t just containment problems. They tried to hide the outbreak.
Much as the Soviets did with their nuclear plant problem and Iran when they shit down a passenger plane
China can never admit to such a gross error.
Not just for ‘Loss of Face’ as they put it, but they would be sued in every court on Earth for damages.................
Deep State and China colluding to collapse the US economy prior to the presidential election in an attempt to be rid of a common enemy?
So, why exactly would an international consortium create a virulent (though only moderately deadly) strain of a virus that causes the common cold? What’s the payoff?

I do t think that was the intention of the participants, unless it was solely the inention of the Chinese.
Everything is a conspiracy. Everything. Which means nothing is a conspiracy. Nothing.
I don’t think the Deep State was necessarily involved because, why shut it down? We have a lot of random data points and I’m just trying to make a coherent theory. Right now, I think most intelligent people can agree that the China government deserves the lion share of the blame for the Coronavirus outbreak.
I think Chinese government admitted their gross error when they changed their pathogen protocols immediately following the outbreak. They know they screwed up.
They are fighting the virus like their hair is on fire...............
There is no rational payoff.
This is an example of institutional arrogance and stupidity. On an individual basis I am sure we could find some carefully hidden malice and self-destructive impulses in critical staff members. Just because some things can be done, does not mean they should be done.
On an irrational basis one might recall the quote from the Stephen King novel "The Stand".

Gee, ya think we will be at war with China soon. The bastards have screwed up the world economy. Tempers WILL flare in the near future.

China needs to reduce its population by about a quarter billion. War would accomplish that, but would devastate the infrastructure. They found a means, they thought. It got loose.
I think this is the most likely scenario - there is no reason the chiComms would release this intentionally. Makes no sense.
Many researchers cannot be made to understand why the absolute need to euthanize all lab animals following completion of a study.
And I have to say that it appears the Chinese, in general, are less concerned about others as they are about themselves. Half of Wuton population (about 5 MILLION) fled to avoid being quarantined in the city.
It was TRIPLE containment problem.
They failed to contain the virus to the lab
They failed to contain the news of it escaping the lab
They failed to contain the outbreak
They got a hat trick!
The only reason we are still alive and more-or-less free is because there are so many conspiracies, they are getting in each others way!
This will be found to be nothing but a virulent flu contracted from eating pangolins, honey badgers and such which eat food on which bat guano has fallen.
