At our age, we are trying to avoid ALL flu and viruses...laugh all you want...got grandparents?
Or the President of Portugal going into quarantine?
I actually don’t feel doom and gloom.
My main concern is the economic loss (which I think is perfectly valid and not money worshipping). Hotel, restaurant, bar, travel, convention business all hit hard. We are losing a lot of wealth. And poverty kills people and makes them vulnerable.
I do have great sympathy for those who are sick or dying but also believe many have underlying conditions that would have made them more susceptible to anything.
