Is this indication the Virus does not care about warm humid air?

Some people believe the virus will fade off in the Spring. Fort Lauderdale is as spring as you can get with temperatures a lot of places see in the Summer.

Usually, flu viruses spread faster in cold weather, but obviously, this coronavirus spreads quickly in warm weather. I haven’t kept up with temperatures across the country, whether it’s been unseasonably warm all over.

I am curious about this and was stumped as to why a virus would die out in warm humid air. Wasn’t malaria a virus that thrived in hot humid air?
