I am curious about this and was stumped as to why a virus would die out in warm humid air. Wasn’t malaria a virus that thrived in hot humid air?

The humid air limits the distance the virus can travel through the air is one reason.

The Flu virus does fade away in the spring time but comes back in a different strain during the Fall. I hope this is not the case for Coronavirus.

They really do not know yet, it could be like the last Coronavirus (MERS and Sars) and not come back.

Malaria was transfer by mosquito bites.
