GEORGIA

MORGAN COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — Governor Brian Kemp’s office confirms that patients who test positive for the coronavirus will be quarantined at a state park in Georgia.

Part of Hard Labor Creek State Park in Morgan County is being prepared for an intake of COVID-19 patients.

This part of the park will be off-limits to visitors. Preparations are already underway, as officials have brought in emergency trailers with related materials en route.

“To prevent the disruption of ongoing operations, access to this specific part of Hard Labor Creek State Park is strictly limited to official use,” according to the governor’s office.

There currently aren’t any patients scheduled to be transferred to Hard Labor Creek State Park. Once the quarantine site is set up, the Department of Public Safety will provide security for the area

Got word today that a person who works at a large office building in the heart of the downtown San Francisco financial district has tested positive.
