There is no excuse for large corporations all the way down to smaller businesses not to hold conferences over the internet. Saves big time on expenditures and everyone is more productive at their desks.
I’ve wondered for years why Skype wasn’t more popular for things that didn’t absolutely positively involve f2f meetings.
I’m small enough to comfortably fit (legwise) in the most restrictive coach seat. And still wouldn’t fly unless I absolutely had to.
Because business gets done face to face. All of the INTERNAL meetings should be conducted by webex or similar. We make it a habit to turn on the video. That helps tremendously.
