Many political types (like mayors, governors) thought they had a cushy job, could delegate all the tough decisions, blame somebody else if stuff went bad, could take a little corruption money on the side, and live happily ever after.
Now they get dragged into this quandary—no good solutions—their political career will be destroyed no matter what they do—their good name gone forever...and it happened so fast _they_ can’t believe it.
If there’s a big enough outbreak in this country, the ‘winner’ will be medicare for all.
Why do you think the govt agencies (probably all ‘with her’ or bernie bros) are dropping the ball with this?
FRiends, please leave your delivery packages outside for several days before touching them and bringing them inside your homes. I just saw I have one on it’s way from WA.
They did tests after they had died when they suspected Covid-19. I would claim incompetency - displayed by their lack of good PPE even after knowing it was Covid-19.
They noticed the large increase in calls due to respiratory distress but didn't change any protocols or tell anyone. Even though the corona virus in China had been in the news for a couple of weeks!
Bannon had some great points, on all of this, a couple of days ago.
He said that the administration/POTUS could’ve said....the numbers could very well be high...we are preparing....we are doing x, y, z and all resources are being expended....
Something to that effect. That people take bad news much better, at first, than later.

Good question. I hope the whole quarantine-at-home is being explained to people in that you quarantine away from your family too.
I made a spray bottle of bleach I spray them down from about 3 feet away. I let them sit for an hour or so like that, flip them with the tip of my (outside) shoes and spray the bottom. Let them sit for another hour then bring into my garage and let them mellow for a cpl weeks now.
Most people can’t do that realistically. Too many shared spaces. And when the potty flushes in one bathroom...
