I’m coming to the conclusion that CDC relies too much on numbers and pre-planned scenarios and not enough on common sense.
I dont know anything about govt rules and regs but Trump needs to sh##can the CDC in this mess and let someone else take over. Or do something.

CDC is just incapable of being pro-active.
I am a retired .gov employee and my agency had the same problem—they could not get ahead of any problem, no matter how minor. They were always reacting to the latest crisis—usually after a lot of damage had already been done.
