“Per BNO News, First case in Washington, D.C.”
Took long enough. Maybe the CDC will take some time off from their socials and try to help the country out a bit - or perhaps I hope for too much.

As for staff coming and going day-by-day, were simply told theyre following infection control protocol. Weve learned that the virus is volatile, unpredictable. Patients have gone from showing no symptoms to being rushed to the hospital in an hour #KOMONews

As for moving seemingly healthy people out of here, were told no one wants to take them be it hospitals or quarantine at homes. There are not other facilities that are asking to take them...at this point, theyre here #KOMONews

Working overtime to take care of residents. This is a larger issue than just our facility. Encouraging anyone who visited to keep in touch with their doctors, no ballpark on how many people may have visited during outbreak #KOMONews

Weve also learned the first patient was taken out of Life Care on 2/19, unclear when they tested positive for COVID-19. It wasnt until 2/29 that visitors were turned away, signs of respiratory outbreak went up on doors #KOMONews
