All love and FReespect over to you SheepWhisperer.
Perhaps you are self isolating because you might have it and don’t want to give it to your lover, or perhaps she’s going to worry about picking it up out there and bringing the virus back to you. Either way you are so right and so powerful in what you say about being pissed off. There are plenty of folks like you who really don’t need to get this virus!
I have been extensively researching the pathogenics/virology/etiology of Sars-CoV-2 and COVID-19 and not worrying much about the epidemiology yet. First question is “How does it kill?” The answer to that question leads to all the others and directs my curiosity as I study.
That said, this virus, at least at this point in my studies I can believe, does spread like the common cold so using the same protective measures against fomites and against close range large droplet transmission will be appropriate and will keep you both safe. I am not seeing the evidence for long range small droplet, aerosol transmission with this virus (but why risk it?)
Glad you are taking care of yourself. We need you around here irritating us!
If your coworker tests negative I do hope you’ll let us know. I prayed for you and your lover today. You’ll be back with those sheep in no time!

CDC has been lying about this, and many frontline healthcare workers are going to feel the pain....
