Doc posted here the requirements by CDC about type of room. He said there aren’t that many rooms in a hospital.
The CDC has recommended Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms (AIIR) for COVID-19. I doubt many hospitals have more than a couple, and it's 1 patient per room.
Place a patient with known or suspected COVID-19 (i.e., PUI) in an AIIR that has been constructed and maintained in accordance with current guidelines.
