I saw that. As a warm weather believer, I am convinced Phoenix will be fine—maybe a case of .gov prepping in the wrong place because they don’t have a clue.

We need testing:

The higher number of the test negative the death rate drops. Lowering Panic levels

The higher number of the test positive, more people take it serious and start taking precaution wearing mask and washing hands. Results in the outbreak slowing down

President Trump needs to give CDC a kick in the butt to get testing issue resolved.

We also need to leave China numbers off the record when figuring out how the virus will effect the USA.

just wait..spring break peaks in the next couple of weeks..

Yes, that is a concern. Was talking to someone at the college where I went and the college has not sent out any notice to students about COVID-19, etc. Does that qualify as normally bias?

He said several people are going to wear masks once students get back and distance themselves to the extent possible until the semester ends.

You'll probably see many commencements cancelled in this Spring.

I am angry and disappointed. I worry the most for hcws being exposed. How can we know for 6-7 weeks what this would look like if not mitigated and the government did not?

I don’t know if you caught up thread but my son knows several kids now quarantined who were exposed to a case here. Fortunately, he has not been around any of them for a while. Still too close for comfort.

One bad thing how this situation was handled is it was the private co-ops that closed did so of their own volition. Our health department did not tell them to close because the kid was not symptomatic when he attended class! It appears the director of the school (I know her, she’s a smart lady, scientist from New Zealand) knew better. Some of the siblings of the kids in quarantine go to public schools and they are not closed.

Anyway, sorry to ramble. I feel like I’m sitting on a shore watching a tidal wave coming

Here’s what I found:

Vinegar
When US researchers tested commercial cleaning products against alternatives like vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, they discovered that neat vinegar killed a range of household pathogens.

Vinegar, be it white or malt or rosemary-infused, is about 5 per cent acetic acid. The acid kills bacteria and viruses, by chemically changing the proteins and fats that make up these nasties and destroying their cell structures.

Science also tells us, for example, that vinegar will kill off the flu virus.

As part of research aimed at preparing us for a flu pandemic, UK researchers found that malt vinegar, much like bleach and washing up liquid, can rapidly inactivate the flu virus.

More recently, US researchers from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine found that vinegar efficiently killed Mycobacterium tuberculosis - the bacteria that causes tuberculosis - after 30 mins of exposure to a six per cent acetic solution.

apple cider vinegar
Viruses, bacteria, and even allergies can cause sore throats. Most sore throats resolve on their own, but at-home treatment can help you feel better as you recover.

Some people claim apple cider vinegar (ACV) can help soothe a sore throat. ACV is a fermented liquid made from crushed apples. However, there’s little scientific data to back up this claim.

ResearchTrusted Source has found ACV to have antibacterial properties, so it may help with sore throats caused by bacterial infections. However, bacterial infections usually require antibiotics. Viruses cause most sore throats, not bacteria. Antibiotics can’t treat viral infections.

Despite the lack of scientific data, there’s anecdotal evidence that ACV can help ease a sore throat for some people.

We don’t have enough masks—that is why the media has been ordered to lie about their efficacy.

The test results are going to panic people—really.

The positive numbers will be off the charts by the time the test kits are received, tests are done, and the results are received.

All that said—of course you need to test, but the reason is so you can remove uninfected people from quarantine!

“Does that help us when over 50% of Vietnam’s imports...are from China?”

That is funny, I have been following a guy on youtube who is traveling around Asian on motor bike. He pointed out everything in the local markets were made in China.

Decoupling from China is hard, but if a company wants to make profit they need too. They only have at the most of a 90 day supply of products and parts. This will start effecting their profits soon.

They need to spread there eggs out to different parts of the world.

I noticed in San Francisco yesterday a new trend. Many of the lovely Asian women are wearing what looks like a designer mask. It is like black silk looking, surgical type not an N95, probably quite ineffective. But it’s a Look.

For the billions of dollars we throw down the rat-hole on military and 'intelligence' we have this horror - - neither group protects us from:

bio-attacks

EMP attacks

cyber attacks

Nuclear attacks

Invasion at our borders.

If this had been an intentional bio-attack the Pentagon would leave a recorded message saying: "If this is an emergency hang up and call 911..."

"Intelligence" would step forward with information the director of the Wuhan bio facility was having an affair with a 13 year old girl and could be blackmailed.

And the American people would be right where we are right now. Thankful President Trump is pulling a ragtag group of doctors together to start from scratch... no kits, not enough mask, important medicines outsources to our enemy... Luckily we're NOT at war with China... but the brain dead brass at the Pentagon are NOT our protectors. It hadn't occurred to them what we would need to fight a bio-attack. Or the aftermath of an EMP attack... Ask the brass about PC rules, how to talk to trans soldier or any other 'victim group' PC rules and they'll know. They 'protect' the feelings of sexual 'others'...

How to protect the American people? Not a damn thought.

Our military protects white liberal elites 'speech countries..." Places where Bill and Hillary types can give 'speeches' for $10,000 A MINUTE....(Yep, the glorious 'middle east'..) Intelligence hangs out there too...if they're not too busy investigation Americans who don't kiss white liberal elite butt...

It's time to fire 90% of these lowlifes and replace them with people who will be prepared to protect the American people.

ultimately, thousands/millions will be affected because we can't shut down the country nor the world....

we need a vaccine, NOW...

once the vaccine is developed, which I think is on way, hopefully, this virus will go the way of smallpox in this country...

we have to wonder about future covids however......what policies in this country need to change in order to control future outbreaks....STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, make sure immigrants are in isolation and check for diseases, and if people want to travel all over the world, they should be prepared to be tested before re entering this country.

it to as a strain of flu. It is strain of the coronavirus.
he is not a native English speaker. skin-to-skin contact

Both are correct. Many non-native english speakers in the UN. Skin to skin is now a CDC caution.

So far what he said is batting near 100
