Frank Tallarico said he and his husband, Kyle Cunningham,

? How did their names get published?

That smacks of two married men trying to draw attention to THEMSELVES.

Just as an aside start looking for these economic terms:

1. Deflation.

Its the real bogeyman. When they say it on CNBC or Fox B, its as if they are saying the “N” word. Governments will do anything to stop it. Even negative rates.

2. Liquidity Crunch /Shortage

When massive selling occurs in a leveraged market, people need to sell assets to cover their loans. When you say the market going down earlier in the week and “paper” gold was getting unloaded, that was an indication of a liquidity crunch. When there is nothing left to sell (for individuals, not overall) the loans go unpaid. That is when there are problems.

3. Teu

A TEU is the index and count of twenty foot export units. Or 20 foot containers. This will let you know how many units are leaving China and how many are reaching the US.

THESE are the things that will tell you the leading indicators for the economy. Jobs numbers from six weeks ago are lagging indicators. February will be seen as the highwater point before the election.

I’ve heard both terms more today than in the over past week or so. It means they are hearing it from others.

It will be interesting.

I agree on the early stages, but I believe the death rate is _not_ the story here.

Death rates are focused on by people who do not understand the disease—for this thread that means newbies.

I will repeat my favorite web site link:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD2-QVBQi48RRQTD4Jhxu8w

When you are done with the videos you will able to find a hundred issues with every public official press conference you will be hearing in the coming days and weeks.

The public is confused, but most public officials are giving our misinformation, disinformation, and just word salad in many cases.

One example: I watched the late night CNN show on the Coronavirus. They had the audience ask questions of the “experts” (not real experts imho).

Question: “I take the subway to work every day. Is there anything I can do?”

You could see the “experts” thinking about which of their talking points might work—hmmm—wash hands—that won’t work-—social distancing-—on a subway, nah-—wipe the handles on the subway-—nah too many people, not worth bothering....

“Well, you can’t really do much” said one of the experts.

On to the next question!

The correct answer, btw, is this:

“Wtf are you still doing in NYC. This place is going to be a f*&^ing disaster area. You do realize that the first NY case commuted to Grand Central Station and there is no containment at this point, right? Take a f*&^ing vacation somewhere far away. Call in sick. Quit your job. Just get the f&^% out of this city. Now.”

This is a mess of mad bureaucrats scrambling in circles.

Very unsettling.

The PA cases are presumed because PA hasn’t test results on them.

Hopefully at this point PA has enough test kits to test them.

@TIME
Trump cancels CDC visit after concerns that an employee may have coronavirus

First I’ve heard that. Although, that was my first thought, I admit.

I thought it was because he didn’t want to disrupt the agency’s good work.

(I really did read that, somewhere.)

” For US and other companies trying to find alternative suppliers,”

There are companies that open factories there in order to sell inside of China. It was cheaper to produce products in China for China then to ship across the ocean and pay import taxes.

Jeep factory in China to sell Jeeps in China
Tesla Factory in China to sell Tesla in China
Luxury Carpet and hardwood floor factories in China to sell in China and other Asian countries.

China has things like Ghost Cities, a real estate bubble that will bust

As far as the companies that use China for cheap supplies and products they will move to Vietnam, India and other cheap labor counties. They have done this since the 80s. They will pack up and move when the labor cost goes to high. Mexico has a great opportunity in front of them, they have a new trade agreement with the USA.

Maybe when the Chinese released their bio-weapon they already had the antidote... Who knows if this is the truth? I’ll know the Chinese have solved the problem i when factory pollution comes back to Wuhan...

BEIJING (Reuters) - “It’s fake! It’s fake!” residents high up in an apartment complex in the central Chinese city of Wuhan shouted down as a senior government official led an inspection tour below of how people were coping during the coronavirus lockdown.

IMO, Those too have begun. Hubby and I were faced with the decision yesterday over whether to allow a friend of his mother's to fly cross country to "visit a couple of weeks."

Sorry, but no.

Once the new test kits are widely available these types of incorrect decisions should be eliminated.

Did you read the “It’s fake!” article that you linked?

The Wuhan high-rise apartment residents, caught on the tape yelling that, are saying that about the appearance of food being delivered.

The CCP was trying to make it look like they’re delivering food to these buildings, on a regular basis. The residents, up above, are yelling that this is fake....food is NOT being delivered...on a regular basis.

It has nothing to do with the coronavirus being fake.
