Every year after the NFL combine, a handful of prospects are pushed into the first round thanks to stellar workouts, and a few drop into the second round after underwhelming performances. This mock draft was completed with that phenomenon specifically in mind.

The financial side of Moneyball won’t work in the NFL because there is a salary floor as well as a cap.
Ha! They have the Seahawks keeping their pick at 27, which is the first mistake (they have traded their 1st each of the last 8). Then they have the Hawks taking the 98th ranked prospect (i.e, a 4th round grade) who is number 20 at their position in the first round. (with only the 1,2,3 and 5 OL taken before them). Idiots

I don’t think winning is critical. I think they want to win but stay as close to the floor as possible. If they stay close to the floor, that’s what matters. If they were to magically win some games, bonus.
