South Korea on Wednesday confirmed 435 new cases of the coronavirus, down from 851 a day earlier, taking the country’s total infections to 5,621 – the world’s largest after China. It reported four new deaths as the country’s toll reached 32.

Mainland China’s new daily cases continued to drop as it reported 119 infections, but the day’s new reported deaths jumped to 38, from 31 a day earlier, bringing its total fatalities to 2,981.

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

I wonder if South Korean and Italy has the L type the more dangerous type.

South Korea has open sewer systems and squat toilets.

The main thing the USA has that is better then China, South Korea and Iran is a modern sewer system. This might keep the outbreak low in the USA with the exception of the West Coast homeless population.

Note: I am very confused about Italy, that puzzle piece does not fit the Sewer theory.
