That was a bit of a confusing search lol. From what I read, it depends on the state. But I think in the end they can vote for whomever they want, which is supposed to be the person the people in the district wants..the will of the people.

Which is a hahahahahhaha... after all we are dealing with demonrats. Reminds me of when my niece (who is wonderful) was 3 or 4 and we were playing Candyland. Not wanting to lose she suggested she take all the “bad” pieces out. I didn’t care. And all was fine until she realized I might win! Then she stopped the game and said, “let’s put the bad pieces back in.”

Moral of my story is dems change the game all the time to favor themselves.
