It all depends on how your air is heated. Gas central air should do a good job. Electric central heat will depend on how hot it heats the air. Central heat will also depend on how long it takes to circulate all the air in a structure. open air heating like wood stoves and gas space heaters will be more problematic.

Laws of thermodynamics aren’t going to let most average-insulated houses in my zone get much above 90°F, with outside temp at 40.
